A Community Meeting on

CLOSING INDIAN POINT

WHAT WE CAN DO

MARILYN ELIE, of the Indian Point Safe Energy Commission (IPSEC) will lead us in a discussion of what IPSEC is doing and what we can do to prevent the relicensing of Indian Point. She will talk with us about why that is important and how to counter the arguments of Entergy and the rest of the nuclear power industry.

We will talk about what the disaster in Fukkushima teaches us and how those lessons apply to Indian Point.

We want this meeting to be one of active participation by all and an opportunity to share information and ideas, so we encourage attendence both by those who are already active and knowledgeable, and those who want to develop a greater understanding of the issues and information about what they can do.

This is an opportunity for those of us in Philipstown, Putnam Valley, Beacon and all the other towns in the region to join forces and become more engaged in an issue that directly affects our safety and well being.

All are welcome - bring a friend or a neighbor

No charge, but contributions to cover expenses are appreciated.
